I have a doctor appointment booked for later today and I’ve already had a telephone appointment with the doctor yesterday. Just asking for your experiences. Has anyone ever had a reaction/allergic reaction to the implanon? Did your body disagree with it? If so, what we’re your symptoms?? I have had diarrhoea, nausea, sore arm but on the outside of where the implanon is, dizziness and hot flushes in my face. Did you have any of those due to implanon?? Thankyou

I had a terrible reaction to the implanon. Mine wasn’t the same as yours but doesn’t mean both aren’t caused by the implanon.
Within days I had massive panic attacks, tried to jump off a building etc. things I had never experienced before.
Once I had it removed I got better very quickly.
I got similar symptoms from Implanon and also Depo Provera (injection version) and was so miserable until it was removed.
my incision site would swell up to the size of a 50c coin every month during my period, itchy all the time and diarrhoea frequently.
