I use to be a vet nurse years back before kids. I'm currently in pathology but would love to go back to nursing.
Im wondering is it woth it. Is any one here a Veterinary Nurse. What do you make an hour/year?

Sometimes the love of the job is worth more than the pay.
Second this, I changed careers last year and lost about $200pw because I went back to entry level. I've since become a single parent in this time and how much I love my job outweighs the few sacrifices I've had to make financially.
Depends on the surgery, but in NSW between 50k and 60k.
My friend and I are both nurses, I work in aged care and average $30 an hour (plus extras for weekends and overnights etc) and my friend is a vet nurse on $29 an hour but no overnights but gets penalties for weekends and some call outs occasionally.
They do occasionally (and very rarely) have someone on overnight to care for animals that need constant care but it’s not often
