Late period

Late period

I’m four days late for my period and pregnancy test is negative. Is there any other reason why a period might be late? I’m usually as regular as clockwork, every 28 days on the dot. Had unprotected sex on the 6th September and again on the 19th. Period was due on the 18th.

Is it simply too early to test? Anyone had negative test and then turned out to be pregnant?

Stress, diet, medications, birth control (especially just going on it or coming off it) can make your period late. There's lots of reasons you could be late. I've tested 4 days after my period is due and I had a super strong positive when I was pregnant. First time I tested before my due date and it was positive but not super strong like the 4 day late one. So I'd guess that it's another reason but who knows. Just wait a bit and test again and see how you go.

I guess it could be stress? I’m not on meds or birth control and my diet hasn’t changed. I guess I’ll wait til it’s a week late and test again.

Could be anxiety from wanting to get pregnant too. Our bodies are weird like that.

Yeah ive had negatives and been pregnant, I knew i was pregnant because i felt weird and just knew, all three pregnancies i just knew, you just feel different. But yeah its definitely possible to be and get negative tests. I would wait a couple more weeks if it hasn't arrived then test again
