Tube tie or remove during c section

Hi lovely people. Looking for experiences around having tubes tied or removed during a c section.
I'm 34 currently pregnant with my second child, second high risk pregnancy and Dr has offered that during the c section they can tie or remove my tubes. I feel confident I am done with having children after this pregnancy (theres 8 years between my first born and this baby) so the permanency doesn't bother me. My family does carry a high risk for breast and ovarian cancer and so Dr suggested that removal may be better as this can also help lower cancer risks.
Just looking for experiences from people who have had this done. Thanks

I haven't done it but I've heard that tying is a higher risk of spontaneous reversal. If I had the option I'd remove them.

Just get hubby to have a vasectomy. Way less risk. That's what we did in this situation at my husband's insistence.

If the risk of cancer is less, I would get them removed.

I had mine cut, burnt during my second csection. My pain and healing was the a bit more and a bit longer then my first section. But no other issues and not much pain after 2 weeks. Also my period has been the same as before

Why not ask your partner to get the snip? It’s not like you’ve just gone through pregnancy and childbirth, you also want surgery. I hope you have lots of help and support.
