I just found out today that at 8 weeks pregnant they can't see the heartbeat. I had an ultra sound and an internal scan. I'm finding it hard to believe. My other three pregnancies you couldn't see or hear it until about 10-12 weeks. I don't know where to go from here (waiting for a doctors appt tomorrow). I'm not bleeding , no pain , breasts are still sore etc etc. Has anyone been in this same situation and the outcome ended up good? I have been researching and reading people's stories about how they waited a couple of weeks and went back and baby was healthy. I want this outcome :(

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Please stay off the internet as it’s going to make it worse for you no matter the outcome - it’s great to have hope but also it’s best to come to terms that this may not meant to be.
I've had 3 miscarriages and no heart beat at 8 weeks to me would mean a loss. You can see the heartbeat much earlier than this. My last miscarriage was at 12 weeks and it was silent, still had all the symptoms of being pregnant but no heartbeat, the only way we knew was because I was booked in for my 12 week scan anyway. I am really sorry, I would love for this to not be the case for you.
Update:
Going in to the hospital tomorrow to have bloods and ultrasound and talk with the doctor about what happens next. I have lost the baby but my body isn't miscarrying it like it should. Oh and my partner left me this morning.
I am very sorry for your loss. I am the poster above you, they may leave you for a week to see if things happen on its own or give you tablets vaginally to bring it on. Horrible thing to go through, especially when you still feel pregnant its hard to believe you have lost it.
Why has your husband left??? Emotions going crazy maybe? Sounds like you are having a rough day.
I wish you the best, but if it were me in your place now it would be a loss, heartbeats can be picked up quite early the earliest for me was at five wks. 23 pregnancies and seven children, I understand that kind of loss only too well. My body didn't complete the miscarriages, so bubs stayed put and I always ended up in the hospital. Needing a curet done these kind of situations can't be messed around with you can become septic.
