Hi IMs! I'm thinking about taking my kids on a holiday next year. I live in QLD and the kids are getting a bit bored of Brisbane and the Gold Coast. So I was thinking of going out of state to Melbourne or maybe Tasmania? Anyone have any ideas that would suit both ages? Just wanting to do something different.

I live in Hobart, it's a fantastic place for a family holiday. Particularly in summer as we have the Taste festival or in winter when we have Dark Mofo week (huge attraction down here). There's also loads of tourist attractions year round!

I'm not quite ready to tackle an overseas trip on my own with 2 kids yet but will keep it in mind for the future :)
Pacific Island cruise from Bris for 7 days with pretty much everything included aswell as childcare. They come up very cheap sometimes and can be cheaper than going to Tas/Melb... check out P & O or deck chair cruising, cruise sale finder.
