Any recommendations on what to do in your own in Brisbane on NYE?
This is the first year ever my kids are spending nye with their father.
I was with a fifo for a few years and we planned to go down the coast for a couple of nights, but we’ve just seperated.
I feel like I should do something other than sit and home and go to bed early, I want to see the new year in and celebrate what’s to come, but have no one to celebrate with.

Find a nice restaurant and head there for dinner and a few wines, then head down to the beach and watch some fireworks :) as you'll be alone, just make sure you stay level headed and have a safe way home.
Call all your friends. Tell them you have no plans ask them want they're doing. You'll end up joining in or meeting up and having an adventure.
