Has any one noticed the decline in quality of clothing, even from big name brands. I'm normally a shein shopper. Iv rarely gotten anything faulty. But iv had to start buying clothing for work. We sells mid to high range brands from several designers and bramds and we get a 60% mark down. I'm appalled in the quality for the prices.

You can thank yourself for that. Since everyone has been able to buy direct from China, brands and retailers have either had to shut shop or make drastic changes so they can compete and still make a profit.
Most big brand names areade in China
Yes but its like contracted work, so the brand makes their money, the store makes their money. When you're buying direct from China like Shein and Temu you're by passing all that which is why its so cheap. Its great for us as consumers but not so great for those brands as they make less and less money, they need to cut costs and that shows in their products as they spend less on production.
Absolutely it has. But, this is driven by brands shifting manufacturing to cheaper countries for survival. We say we want quality, but then buy the $2 shirt direct from China instead of the $20 one.
Appliances are the same. Formerly quality brands have shifted manufacturing & reduced quality to save money & are now rubbish.
