names, how did you decide between two?

SOOO....I had been 100% set on the name Naia. because i though Nahla was off the table.
now hubby doesn't mind either....
when did people figure out what they were going to name their kids? before? close to? or after???. my first was so easy. she was just her name from the week we knew she was a girl.
iv always though my second would be Naia, but my husbands ex is nay (pronounced nigh.) so very very similar (naia is pronounced Nigh-ah) and I'm not her biggest fan lol so it kinda puts Naia back on a level playing field with Nahla. which i love just not as much as naia.. but it has no link , if that makes sense?

i know i should just chill and wait till bubs is born....but thats not in my personality lol....I just thought id throw it out there how any other mums made a decision between two names they loved equally??? did you just sit on it and wait? did you leave it up to your partner? how did you decided between the two?

? I no the feeling of wanting to be prepared. I would wait till baby is born. Trust me you know when you see and hold your baby what feels right. Trust me. My son we were nagged by everyone and staff we had picked his name but just needed to make sure.

Yep relax put all names on a list and you'll know when you have your baby and actually use a name it'll be clear. You might even go for something different to. Don't stress just keep them all ready.

Me and hubby have 3 kids out first had her name since I was 9 wks pregnant. Second we where still debating the name
While I was in labour driving to hospital :/ 3rd the name
Just came to me And I didn't like anything else hubby just had to warm up to it alittle. I find naming children very stressful I mean they have to have thT name for the rest of their lives, what if they don't like it ect so always had a name before we went into hospital.

I named my kids after I held them. I had names picked out and knew straight away with my first (girl). My second and third I didn't name till they were a week old, boys names are hard lol. Go with what makes you happy and what will suit your daughter when she comes. Don't worry about the rest. Out of those names I looooove Naha, but that would be me if you love Niah than go with that and don't worry about hubby's ex, they aren't the exact same name anyway
