I need job advice!! Is anyone a real estate agent?

I am 25 & have never really had a job, I always did courses & work experience trying to improve my chances up until I became a stay at home mum. I really want a job when my kids are both in school but I am seriously stressing about trying to find work when I'm 30 with no previous work history at all! No one would hire me when I was 16-23 with no experience I don't really see much hope for myself in the future & it's making my depression & anxiety really bad so I want to study something online now while I'm stuck at home anyways but I'm not sure what to do that would almost ensure I could find a job when the times right. I've been thinking of trying to become a real estate agent as I love seeing new houses, interior design & I'm good with computers. But I've read that the license is over $1000 per year so I'm not sure it's going to be worth it... is that something your employer pays for once your with an agency or should I look into something else?

I dont know anything about real.estate. but i do have 2 businesses and currently employ over 20 staff. Alot of the staff i look for when employing are people with no experience, so they have a clean slate and i can train them the way i would like. So no experience isnt always a bad thing. Alot of what determines me choosing someone to employ is their attitude. I would employ a happy up beat enthusiastic person over a person with experience any day.

Speak to the Real Estate Institute of QLD. They will be able to point you in the right direction re:courses to do. It's honestly not that hard and yes my employer pays for my continuous training to retain my license and the renewal costs. (I'm in NSW so not sure if you have to do continuous training courses to maintain your license)
One little bit of advice make sure you are doing this job for the right reasons because it's not just easy quick money. It's hard work and hard to juggle around your family as you will likely be taking calls after hours, meeting with clients before or after hours. It can also be quite draining!! Good luck!!!
