I am a stay at home mum of 3, we don't use daycare, so kids are with me 24/7.
I now have the opportunity to have some regular time away - either an evening or on a Saturday. My question is - what do I do??!!
It has to be out of the house and budget friendly. I don't have any hobbies (that I can do out of the home) and don't really have friends to catch up at that time as they all have kids too.
I do like walking, but I'd like to do something that I wouldn't do with the kids.
Any suggestions? What would you do?
What would you do just for you ??

Join a walking group, look at the community centre and see what adult courses are on, go to the movies, get your nails done, get a hobby, go to the beach or park and read a book, write, journal.
For a long time ive thought there should be mums rooms which are just comfy spaces with bean bags, cushions, & sofas where we can relax, read magazines, drink tea, do face masks, thats all we really want, homely stuff, just to do it in peace or with adult company for a few hours.
As far as i know they dont exist (yet) so you need to find youre own space and something to fulfil you. Keep an eye out for things that are going on locally.
Take up a team sport at the local club that's the usual time meet someone over 5
I like to go to a coffee shop/restaurant with a book or my colouring stuff and just enjoy a drink/cake etc in peace
I play netball.
