Hi IM,
I have two beautiful children, the youngest 3 months old.
My husband & I said that we'd have 2 kids so that we could send them to Catholic schools, let them play sport and lead comfortable lives etc.
sometimes, I feel that I'd like a third, I'm not meaning now, but in a couple of years. Other times I am sure that I'm done!
My question is, how do you know when you're happy & content not having anymore kids?
How do I know I'm finished having kids?

I think some people just know, and others make a decision one way or another and make that decision right.
I mean my son is almost 22. And I and 99% of the time I know that was the right decision for me to stop at 1. But last night my baby niece had a sleep over and my ovaries did a lurch. And I thought for a minute awe wouldn't another be nice, but then the feeling passed!
I had five and I'm still not sure! I'm divorced and my new partner has had a vasectomy so...
Some people just know and then there's people like me.
I often have feelings of sadness. Less and less as time goes on though :)
