Toilet training a 4 year old boy for night times

Please help! I have a 4 year old who is determined to wear jocks to bed... ive tried and tried but he is continously wetting himself several times through the night. Do any mums out there have any tips for toilet training a 4 year old boy for night times?
*he is fully toilet trained through the day*

My daughter was the same, she would take her pull up off during the night or flat out refused to put one on. We have one of those little sheets that just go on top of your normal sheet so you just take that off instead of all the sheets if they have an accident.
I would get my daughter to goto the toilet before she went to bed. Try and limit how much they have before bed time. In the early days I would get her up during the night and get her to goto the toilet. It's has taken a couple of weeks but she is starting to go the hole night now without an accident. Hope this is of some help. Good luck

My son had a 'bed pad'. That absorbed the pee (well most of it).
If he is really determined you could try a bed alarm/pants alarm.
It buzzes when he starts to drip and needs to go to the loo. But if he is a deep sleeper it won't work, you'll have to sleep in the room and wake him up.
Personally it just doesn't sound like he is ready yet. Usually kids start to wake up with a dry nappy themselves. Personally I'd persevere with the nappy, he just doesn't sound ready at all. Even if that meant a tantrum.
