I'm a 25th year old stay at home mum and Im lonely as all hell
I have a beautiful son (14 months) and can't get into any playgroups (on several waiting lists)
I recently moved to the western suburbs of Melbourne after living over an hour away on the mornington peninsula my whole life and don't know anyone except for my partner and his friends, none of whom have kids or really 'get' what it's like to be a devoted mumma.
Just looking for someone my age, non judgemental, to hang out with and so my son has social interaction with someone his age... :(

Playgroups shouldn't have waiting lists? I've been to many, you just show up...I would be questioning that!
Hi Larnz, I'm not exactly your age (just 30) nor do I have kids your age, I have two boys aged 13 & 11 & a girl aged 8 but I am also a lonely mum ? Done the playgroup things when kids were little they were so bitchy & judgemental & it hasn't changed since they've gone into primary & highschool it's only gotten worse! Like highschool all over again! I live in the 'Rowville' area so I don't know how far away that is from you but I'm always up for making friends, my kids are absolutely fantastic with little kids. Have you looked at facebook groups? I know there is one for mums around the werribee and hoppers crossing that generally catch up weekly
