Broken patella

Hi IMs

Has anyone got experiance with this and can tell me what to expect with recovery time and being able to walk etc
And also long term if you've had ongoing issues

I've broken mine, thankfully it doesn't need surgury but I'm in a locked splint from hip to ankle which is driving me nuts especially with small kids.
