4 days before xmas I was struck down with the most incredible pain in my lower abdomen ive ever had. On Friday night at its peak I was on the loo naked in a full body sweat and throwing up in the hair rinse jug and occasionally laying curled up on the bathroom floor! Thankfully my 10yo girl was at my parents for a sleep over. I was told by the doc it's called diverticulitis. I am on antibiotics so it's getting better but still have excruciating pain before I pass wind or poo. Sorry tmi.
Anyway.......when my girl got home I was having another pain attack and she asked me if that was what it was like to have a baby? I had to say I don't know. I had 2 days of failed inductions before a c-section so no contractions at all. It made me think if this is anything, anything like labor pains then hats off to the women who pushed one out!!!! Not taking anything away form those of us for whatever reason had a c-section! But there is no way in hell i could go through it. I've seen women having kids on tv and thought gee it looks painful and if this is very similar then you all deserve a big yeeha. Please don't think I'm being silly or trying to be a smart ass. Not at all but as I said I never had the slightest pain with my daughter and if this was similar there's no way I could've done it. So cheers to you women who pushed! You're tough.

I've had both a natural and a c-section and I'd take a natural birth any day!!! I think all mums are tough including you c-section momma.
