Hi ladies,
I'm breastfeeding my almost 5 month old but my milk supply is almost non existent!!
I've tried drinking loads of water, taking fenugreek tablets, lactation treats & expressing but it's not doing much!!
I've had to start mix feeding as my Daughter is still hungry after and she is getting used to the bottle which is making feeding time extremely frustrating. I'm not ready to give up breastfeeding, so does anyone have any tips on how to boost my milk supply? I feel like an absolute failure!

Boost your supply with lactation cookies! These ones are dairy free; https://www.healthymummy.com/dairy-free-choc-banana-lactation-cookies/?l...
They worked for me! Then feed one side fully, then otherside for full feed. Every 2-3 hours.
Firstly, calm down! You're not a failure. You've done a brilliant job getting to 5 months! (Most give up within the first few weeks).
What are your babies nappies like?
Does she have many wet nappies a day? If so, then your supply is fine.
You may benefit from seeing a lactation consultant. Can normally access them through your local community health centre. I've seen one 3 or 4 times.
What makes you feel like your supply is low? Other than your baby seeming like they're hungry after the feed? That's not a good indicator of supply.
Many babies go through fussy phases when it comes to feeding.
Lactation cookies worked for me too! I've been told rest is the most important thing and feeding every couple of hours. Another thought was could she be ready to start on solids?
