Birthday party

Hi IM's,
I'm having my daughters 1st birthday party in a few weeks and I want it to be so special. I'm wondering what food to do-some nice elegant food. Something a little different. And recipes please. Thankyou so much

We buy bulk lots of dumplings from the local chinese store and serve those up along with sushi platters, cheese platters, gourmet sandwiches and stuff :)
