I'm 40 years old and just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant (I have 3 other children).
My issue and question is (I'll be asking the doctor when I go back to her) , I'm very very tired , as in I'm falling in and out of sleep all day. I was never like this with my other 3. Is this due to my age? Has it happened to anyone else?

I was only 21 and pregnant with my 3rd child and I was experiencing this, I actually fell asleep on the bus at 10.00 am once (like full open mouthed and snoring 😂😂). I was exhausted from conception til she was out lol, so I don't necessarily think age is a huge determining factor (though I'm sure it would play a part). In my case I think it was a combination of having 2 toddlers to care for and I was anemic.
I'd try and get more iron in your diet or an iron supplement if you're not already, hopefully that helps boost your energy levels a bit.
Congrats by the way 😀
Iron and magnesium
I am 35, 3rd pregnancy. Big gaps in between.
This is by far my worst too.
Now 20 weeks and am improving but still need a nap after work in the arvos.
From the time I found out for weeks I could sleep on weekends 14 hours a night then 3 hours through the day and still feel tired.
School days at home were getting kids to school then on the lounge sleeping and no energy until pick up time.
It is actually quiet draining.
Listen to your body and remember it won't last 😊
Well at 26 and pregnant with my 4th baby I was falling asleep every time i sat down in the first trimester 😂
I'd call it, being pregnant with 3 kids.
But have your iron checked.
