He tells his new girlfriends that I cheated and keep his kids from him. The truth is, I left my ex because after years he could never hold down a job and treated me like garbage. After 10+ years of emotional and financial abuse I found my own two feet and I fucking ran!
I could list all his faults but something tells me you will discover them for yourself over time.. Just like I did.
I would offer you the same advice I would give to past-me: Know your worth. Find your passion and you will shine brighter than you thought possible.

Wow I just read this and can just relate! Although we didn’t have children, he has with his ex and I did more for his kids and paid more money then he ever did!
I think we are blinded by our own weaknesses at times! But I’m moving forward and happy! Just got a distinction in my first module of uni! I can do this!
