All experience will be different, contact your local council and enquire about their home business food laws. Some councils demand a commercial kitchen with food license and others require second kitchen sink for hand washing and some are not willing to hand licenses to home business. I’d also suggest scoping out commercial kitchens for lease in your area and also doing a food handlers certificate or a cert 4 in commercial cookery.
I’m always so interested when an ad pops up for them and then I get turned off on the price. So many places charge $10 thereabouts for a take away container of food which would feed one person, let alone two or three of us :( if you could do big batches of lasagna, spaghetti, stir fry and pies etc. they’re the kind I know myself and friends would lean more towards :)
A couple of locals run Paleo Mummas in Ballina NSW, check out their page
Hello Fresh has just started up in my area
I used to have a lady rent my kitchen in a cafe at night. She had to leave it as she found it, order in her own stock.
She made premade lunches.
