I’m 33 with one son (almost 14), I’m really considering permanent options of contraception. I am on the mini pill (due to family history of blood clots) and I’ve the implant (hated it) and don’t want the injection or Mirena.
Firstly would they do this if I’ve only had 1 child? I definitely do not want anymore hence the reason why I am wanting a permanent option.
Secondly what is the estimated costs for having one done? I’m in SE QLD.
Also if anyone can provide me with your personal experiences (good or bad) that would be great.
Thank you!

Mine was free. I had 2 kids and got it done at the public hospital. No problems. But I did get it done due to medical reasons.
Had mine done at 36. They did ask that I was sure, but no issues.
