I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby, and doctors have been telling me since about 20 Weeks that bub is small but otherwise healthy. He's been continuing to grow but is still very small and I was informed today I'm going to be induced by 37 weeks. I'm starting to wonder if there is something I'm not being told. My question is have any other mummas experienced this, and was their baby okay? Should I be worried that I'm being induced due to some underlying cause that doctors aren't telling me? Thanks in advance

Doctors are not hiding something. They don’t do that and there is nothing to be gained by lying to you.
Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Ask more questions. They aren't going to lie to you - they want you to be informed
They certainly are not hiding anything from you. They cannot do that :) they’re giving you and your baby the best chance by inducing you at 37 weeks. It’s conpletely normal with a small baby, you can reject the induction but it’s so that they can get the necessary nutrients into Bub to help that final lung development etc. be successful :)
Being induced is a very straight forward and common procedure. There are a multitude of reasons they do this, if you don't feel well enough informed, ask! They can't just tell you you're being induced without giving you a reason.
Don't fear the induction though, if I had not had that intervention I doubt my children would have made it into the world safely.
The doctors can’t hide anything from you. I was induced because my daughter stopped growing at 27 weeks. They induced me at 38 weeks and she was 3 weeks behind.
My daughter did need full resuscitation at birth and got flown to Nepean hospital but that wasn’t something they could pick up.
My son (1 week old) also had the same problems and stopped growing and is as healthy as they come. I refused induction with him as I still felt him moving a lot unlike my daughter but had to be induced when I reached 10 days over.
The doctor in my delivery room told me they had to voice all their concerns as they now have an open disclosure policy to follow with all parents so they have to tell you everything. They’re probably worried that Bub isn’t getting enough to make him grow so instead want him out so they can monitor him.
No I don't think you need to worry! My 2nd was a Caesar at 37 weeks, born perfectly fine. No problems. The doctor would induce you earlier if there was need to worry!
