Making the move to Melbourne

Making the move to Melbourne

Hey ladies we are moving to Melbourne the end of next year and I am trying to suss out areas to live.

Looking for an area that is:
-easily accessible to the city.
-Close to a hospital.
-My daughter plays representative soccer so looking for a football club or academy that has strong female representation.
-a great primary school, either private or public. My oldest 2 currently attend an amazing public school in QLD. But I will need to start school applications soon as my youngest will be in his first year and have no clue where to start.

Eastern Suburbs -
Many soccer clubs that are in the FFV including Boronia, Knox, Montrose and lots more!

A lot of public and private schools all high ranking, look at areas such as Ringwood, Knox, Belgrave for schooling.

There is no way anyone can answer this question unless you give us a budget!

Well seeing as she has mentioned public or private schooling, I'd say that budget isn't the biggest issue. More so, the area in which they are moving :)

Yes, but the best public schools are in areas you can’t buy in unless you have 2 mill plus

She hasn’t asked for the best, just a great school. There’s many in the eastern or south east suburbs :) there is plenty of great primary schools around both public and private that are in very affordable areas.

Budget isn’t an issue, we will make it work $ wise depending on a great school and a football club.
