How do you go about starting a new career in a new industry?
A bit of background, I have worked in hotels for over decade now and managed to achieve a high level role. I realise this is as high up as I want to go and my current role, and the industry, just do not fit well with a work life balance. I really want to try looking for a job in another industry - but which one?
I would be happy to do some online study to help get into a new industry, but just don't know which one! I'm always asking people what they do, what their job entails, pros and cons etc but still get no further along. I've been thinking about this so long now that the more time goes by, the more I dislike my current job and it really starts to get me down at times.
Any ideas to point this mumma in the right direction? TIA

I feel exactly the same. I’ve been a hairdresser for 29 years. I even worked in salons when I was at school. Would love to change careers but have no idea where to start... Wishing you all the best...
