How to toilet train my toddler

my son is fully toilet trained for days.
I haven't started the night training he is 3 & half.
he has a day time nap doesn't have a wet nappy after the nap.
when is a good time to take away the nappies completely
and some good strategys as I am very nervous about it...

Buy a great mattress protector (waterproof) and if you want a brolly sheet (goes over the top sheet and absorbs pee).
I’d remove nappies for daytime sleep.
Night toilet training is something that just happens on its own so as soon as he wakes up in the morning take that nappy off. If it’s dry for a week I’d say your good to go! Accidents will happen occasionally but you’ll be less stressed if you have the right protection.

Waterproof Mattress protector.
Wee before bed.
Take him for a wee before you go to bed.
If he wets the bed don't worry, just change it, tell him its ok and try again the next night.

My son is 4, almost 5. Day/naps down pat but nappy still for night time.
It’s not a thing that can be “trained”, it’s literally a developmental things, and until they hit that stage, it’s easier to make things less stressful and traumatic for everyone if you keep nappies.
I just tell my boy that when he starts waking in the mornings with dry nappy, or he wakes during the night because he needs to pee, that’s when he knows he is ready to go without nappies.
I’ll probabably have a trial period next summer, like we did this summer which didn’t go well.

Some children respond well to being taken to the toilet during the night. So take him off to toilet whenever you go to bed,, but it caused night terrors for my guy
