Question for Israeli mums about their kids English lessons

Hey mums in Israel out there!
I have a general question about your kids English lessons at school. I am planning some research on the issue and I thought this would be a perfect place to get some feedback on real opinions out there!
Do you care whether your kids have a native English speaker as their English teacher or not? and if you do have an opinion, could you let me know why?
A million thanks in advance

I think you are asking if parents care if their child's language teacher is a native speaker or not; which is not confined to Israeli parents with children learning English.

My children learn German and Japanese, for the level they are at, it does not matter.

Native speakers educated in the language with cultural and dialect difference would be ideal for higher levels of learning... but take what you can get.

I am not Israeli but I have worked with ESL kids and adults, I have noticed people who have learnt english from another ESL person take on the learnt accent, which is usually American. My son's friend moved here from Germany when he was 8 and did not know a word of english, he learnt english at school through his Australian teachers and the other kids. 5 years later he was very fluent in english, you wouldn't know it was his second language if you didn't already know, I was amazed. So just by my own observations I say an Australian English teacher is best if living in Australia for the long term.
