PND or sleep deprivation

Where is the line between PND and sleep deprivation/exhaustion?

Really feel they are strongly linked! But you can certainly have one without the other

It's a thin line. If you're feeling badly in yourself, it's time to ask for help. If you have family and friends to call on, do it - get them to watch bub while you get some sleep, see if someone will stay over to help you overnight; go to your GP or speak to your health nurse if you're feeling low/anxious. They might have some ideas too. Start with trying to get more sleep, if that doesn't help you can enact a mental health plan.

My personal experience is that the long term sleep deprivation (my kid didn’t sleep longer then 2 hours for 14months) creates a chemical imbalance in your brain which is a contributing cause for depression. All interrelated. Whatever it is it sounds like you need some care and a chat to a doctor
