Never had a false positive, only false negatives. I couldn't tell you which brand is better because I have used so many different ones. I think the only difference with the more expensive ones is that they're more sensitive and can be used before your period is due and at any time of the day, the cheaper ones are more accurate first thing in the morning after your period is due.
False positives are very uncommon. I've always used first response pregnancy tests
Never had a false positive or a false negative and generally tested around 2-3 weeks pregnant
False positive no, evaporation line yes but you can definitely tell the difference between an evap line and a positive test
Yes had a box of 5 all came up as positives. Went to get a box of first response and all 6 were negative. Also read reviews online and prognosis are known to give Faldo positives all the time apparently.
