Over the past 18 months I have gained over 25kgs. I get little exercise due to my extreme workload and am constantly hungry and snacking. Over the past 6 months I have made a conscious effort to be more active, eat more balanced meals, and have tried to reduce snacking but my weight keeps increasing (I have been taking body measurements and photos to track weight, not just scales). I went to a doctor a few months ago who took some blood tests and said they were all normal, advised me to eat less, and stated that as I'm now 30 it's just my age making it harder to lose weight. So I'm looking for recommendations for a GP in the Cairns area who specialises in this area and will help me lose weight and provide support instead of just telling me to reduce food intake or that my weight is tied to my age. Bulk billing would be great but happy to see anyone at this stage.
Thanks

Look into Atkins. U can eat so much it’s just low carb so you drop the weight. It’s not starving yourself so it might be good for you. I just had 3 rissoles and a giant salad for lunch. All of my cravings for sweeties have gone. Atkins have meals plans for free and all of the info is on the website
