Hey y'all! My hubby works incredibly hard. What can I send with him for lunch! I know that may sound daft,, but I rack his brains and offer suggestions for him to take!! Currently he only takes iced coffees and coke + a vegemite sandwich,, yikes!! So something along those lines, simple simple, quick stuff to mung on! He works a minimum of 45hrs and he needs to be nourished!!!

I cannot stress the importance of leftovers! Make extra where you can. Great leftover are spag bol, lasagne, stir fries, fried rice, curry and rice, pizza! Most things are great as leftovers!
For sandwich ideas ham and cheese, cheese and cold meat or salad and cold meat, avocado and cheese, tuna and salad.
Or antipasto lunchbox.
My partner works long days on a farm, so he doesn't have access to a fridge or microwave. He takes a little 6 pack sized esky, we also have a thermos for food when its cold. These are the things I pack, he generally takes the equivalent of 2 lunches and 3 snacks.
Leftovers on sandwiches or rolls
Cold meat and salad sandwiches, rolls and wraps

Jatz and dip
Vegie sticks and dip
Tin of oysters
Chips
Biscuits
Rice cream cups
Yoghurt

Breakfast bars
Fruit containers
Potato salad
Pasta salad
Fried rice
Nuts

Food thermos - You can put just about anything in. Soup, leftovers, casserole, pasta, Mac and cheese, 2 minute noodles, sausage rolls.
As the comments above but also mini tuna tins are great! They come in loads of flavours and are cheap. Plus anything else in a tin with a ring pull he can just open and eat.
Meatball subs!! Hubby loves them. A thermos with hot dogs and then send along hot dog rolls (I cook up onion and bacon too and send grated cheese). Burritos. Sausage rolls (home made), hotdog in pastry.
Well I don't have a hubby it's just me but I work similar hours and for myself I do pesto pasta, spaghetti, noodles, chips, fruit, salads and whatever else I have in the cupboard lol. I wish someone would make my lunch for me.
I get it my hubby works minimum 72 hours a weeks, thankfully hubby has a car fridge and a bbq at work (although most days wouldn't have the time to cook, sometimes he does) he also has thermos. I make veggie sticks dip salads cold meat crackers flavoured tin tuna, sandwiches with a variety of fillings (if he feels like tomato on it i slice it and place it in a container to stop it going soggy) left overs he likes cold snags snitzels ect. Good luck
Is this post for real? Sounds like you are talking about a primary school child!
