I can’t help but wonder if my family is complete but have I left it too late?
I’m a 30 year old with 2 children. I have a boy, 10 and a girl, 8.
For years after my second I thought my family was complete and I got focused on getting my career on track once both my children where at school. My husband always wanted a bigger family but also loved what we have.
Over the last 2 years I can’t help but wonder if our family is complete. I continually run all scenarios through my head but can’t make up my mind. I wonder if I will get closure and get the feeling of being done if I don’t go back for a 3rd/4th. I also have quite an age gap to consider.
What are your experiences and thoughts.
Is my family complete?

You are only 30, it’s not too late. You just need to decide. There is nothing wrong with a big age gap unless you decide it’s a problem for you.
My 3 children are all 5 years apart I'm 32 , I have a 13 year old 8 year old and 3 year old, to be honest the age gap is really good in my experience. My 2 older children have been very helpful with my youngest they always loved helping when he was younger. Especially my 13 year old daughter. Also has been good having time alone with each of my children while the other has been at school etc to just focus on them during the day and having that extra bonding time with each of them.Everytime I was pregnant I'd be thinking it's been so long I don't know what I'm doing like I'd forgotten alot of things but it all comes back straight away and naturally once they are born. I also don't feel like I'm done yet either tho I don't really know if that ever goes away.
Oh my gosh I am 38 and just had my 4th - I have kids the same ages (with an extra one thrown in)
Girl 10
Girl 8
Boy 6
Baby boy 9 mths
He is the joy of all our lives. Kids at school are just obsessed with him and everyone is so gentle and caring. It has been the best decision we never made 😉
