Hi mummy's;
I wanted to ask advice about buying a bigger house. & what jobs I could do at home. How does everyone do it? I currently work as a long haul flight attendant part time, I can't go to work full time as I have 2 little boys at home to look after. I can't keep flying away & getting other people to look after them. I would love to start a business but for that you also need money, so what jobs could I do that pay well but I can still look after my kids. I wan't to give them a better life than they have now. We live in a tiny 2bedroom apartment, no balcony & shared laundry. We have outgrown it but don't know what to do. My partner is a tradie & with both our wages at the moment it's impossible. How does everyone do it? What can I do to make more money? I worked in a clothing shop before but the money I was getting wasn't worth it.
Please help!

The honest answer is we don't all do it. Times have changed and renting for many is the only option. I will never own my own home and that's ok. It varies on where you live and wether you can buy or not. Sydney is a challenging market for example. Make an appointment with a home loan broker, so they can tell you what you need.
Sometimes it's not about how much money you make its about how much you save. Really sit down and work on your budget. Don't eat out, buy in bulk, buy 2nd hand clothes. Put any extra money into a high interest savings account. I don't know many jobs you can do at home that make huge amounts of mine. I've done different things here and there like babysitting kids in my house, doing people's ironing, paper routes. You can sign up to sell make up and energy drinks to people you know. Maybe look into doing night work or weekend work when hubby is home to watch kids. It's a sacrifice but you get paid heaps more even if you get a job at safe way or a bar. I also have a friend that gathers things from ops hops and friends and sells them on ebay.
