Yeap. No shame or guilt attached to your child seeing a psychologist for general anxiety. CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) is rather good if the anxiety is related to social situations, panic attacks or all round generalised anxiety issues.

Huge numbers of kids see psychologists. I saw one as a kid and it helped immensely.
Yes my son has selective mutism/ social anxiety and a speech delay and he sees a psychologist.
