To Cricut or not

Hello ladies.. or fellow crafters..

I'm looking at expanding my business and seeking to make my own labels for my boxes and various other personal pieces and touches.

I have been looking at the Cricut machine for awhile it looks fantastic.

However are there other alternatives for making labels and stickers, crafting etc.

Let me know your thoughts.. have you got one , tried one, love yours , hate yours, any advice etc for this type of thing.
