Hi everyone 👋
I'm looking for some reassurance, I began the depo injection back in 2017 and my periods stopped right away, I stopped the injection in December 2019 and now to this day I haven't received a period 🙈 I'm seeing my GP about it but I'm terrified I'm now infertile has anyone else been through this with some positive outcomes? 🙈

I used depo 20 years. It took 2 years for my period to reappear and a little over a year for the cycle to settle down into a regular pattern. I used a period tracker calendar to note the changes so I could see what was going on.
Cycles return very slow with depo. I only ever took it once. I bled the whole 3 months including a stuffed up cycle for the following four months just from one 3 month injection. Never again will I touch depo for contraception. If it took that long for me with just one round , I cant imagine what it would do to someone on it long term.
I was on depo for 15 years took 2years for period to return and fell pregnant 6 months later, then 5 months after giving birth, pregnant again. My two are 14.5 months apart
I have had the depo shot for 20 years on and off. It takes around 2years for cycles and fertility to return to normal. My period comes back pretty much straight away after the 3 months is up. I also have pcos so not great fertility anyway, but I have 3 kids.
I was on it for 11 years no issues went off it and a few months later started on the pill and it started my periods back up then went off the pill and fell.
