Vasectomy reversal
My partner got a vasectomy last year. At the time it was the best thing for our us. We had a miscarriage not long before his procedure. we have 4 children between us and thought we where done having children but it is now playing on us especially since we lost a baby. In other’s opinions is it worth getting a reversal ? How affective are they ?
I have a constant guilt hanging over me And I’m constantly struggling with the miscarriage and knowing another isn’t possible given the situation.
I’d absolutely love another baby but don’t know if it’s worth my partner going through a reversal.

Please don’t go down the reversal avenue! We decided to have another baby after a 10year gap. My husband went through the reversal and it cost us $10,000 all up and it failed anyway :( it was heartbreaking for us. We ended up going through IVF.please speak to a fertility specialist as there are options for couples in your position. We did IVF and my husband had sperm taken (it was a very straight forward procedure ) and honestly I wish we’d just done it all along. It resulted in a pregnancy and a healthy baby girl :) All the very best in your choice. We were also told that the reversal would have a 80% success and that isn’t true at all :(
