Ancestry testing

I’m wanting to do dna/ancestry testing to find out what regions I’ve come from (ie 20% Irish 15%scottish etc) as well as documented family history which I know there is a lot of on my dads side. But it would be interesting to see what Mums side brings as her parents came from Europe after the war.

Which company would be best (23&me, ancestry.com etc)

Would be interesting to learn your history that’s for sure. I was 1 of 3 kids growing up. To this day parents still married for 44 years. We all found out we had an older sister from when my dad was 17. Was a massive shock and something you only see in the movies! She instantly slotted into our world perfectly and this was only the end of last year. Ancestors.com is how she found us as her mum hindered her search for dad by giving incorrect surname spelling and everything. You literally never know what you’ll find. Ha ha! We are blessed to have her but she has always longed to know about her father so I guess what we feel is nothing compared to how blessed she feels to have found a whole other family 😊
