Help with teenager.

Hi Ladies
I am hoping to get some advice please.
I am a single mum to a 14year old boy. His dad isn’t in the picture - hasn’t seen him for maybe 6 years, dads choice.
My 14yr old is out of control at school. He is extremely disrespectful, defiant, disengaged. He does not do the work and dies not care about the consequences. He gets up and walks out of the room without permission.
I have had meeting after meeting and it makes no difference. The school have been very supportive but they too are at a loss as to what to do. The school councillor is involved, the year adviser and deputy.
He has disclosed that he wants to die a few times, the first disclosure being last year.
We have seen a psychologist on and off (covid has made it tricky) however he does not willingly go.
He does not care that he is falling behind, interfering with peers learning etc.
I need help. Desperately. Are there programs to help?
I thought maybe he had undiagnosed ADHD? His behaviour at school is impulsive.
Any suggestions or advice much appreciated.
Thanks!

Look into whether you can access an alternative education school. My partner use to run one in Western Australia, they take on “troubled kids” and find ways to educate them. They don’t take any crap from the kids but they make learning way more fun and engaging for these kids. They are better equipped to deal with “troubled kids”
That’s all i have sorry, i hope your son sees a better way to deal with his emotions and i hope you can both heal this together

My son is 13 and we recently found a good psychologist for him who knows what he is doing and is having an impact. I would recommend asking on your local mums or parent page for recommendations.
My son's psychologist will take him for a walk or do an activity. Not just sitting in a room staring at each other. I've heard of people who do work with horses or dogs.
