Looking for a lawyer/solicitor that deals with family property settlements ect in TAREE NSW that won't do us over.
No family troubles or anything like that, we just want to have a property transferred into our names, I know we can do it just not sure how or where to start with it.
Thanks all!!

What does 'do you over' mean?
You'll probably need a conveyancer rather than solicitor for simple property exchange. Cheaper, too.
Solicitors have a fair bit at risk, much more than they'd get "doing you over". They'll do what they're paid to do. And their primary lookout will be who is paying them. As long as everyone is in agreeance beforehand then you won't end up with multiple rewrites of the contract.
Ring around get hourly quotes and an approx time they'd expect for a straightforward property transfer.
I think from memory mine in 2010 was about $1400 for a purchase from family. Just bought a property again and expect legals to be around $1800-2000.
