Looking for some ideas for a girls 8th birthday party in Adelaide. She's 8 going on 18 so not really into all the cutesie types of things. Single mum here, so as much as I'd love to give her a huge party, unfortunately money is tight, although her dad has said he'll contribute to whatever she wants. She doesn't particularly want a party at home (my house is tiny anyways without a backyard) and doesn't want to do the typical Bouce/Inflatable World/Plaster Fun House etc. I'm stuck for ideas and she can only tell me what she doesnt want!! Thank you in advance!!

I did a tiedye party. Every one got a shirt to tiedye and take home. They loved it
My 8 year old has just been given the choice of a party with 5 kids, going to the movies with 2 friends or going to the zoo with 2 friends. I figure a movie or zoo trip would be fairly similar price to a party
Maybe just a few friends and a choice. A fun high tea? Movies, bowling, facials? Nails and lunch?
Take 3 friends and go do an activity. Roller skating/ escape room/ etc then go for cake of ice cream or donut shop
My girls went to a disco party at around that age. It started at 6pm and went to 8pm! Which they thought was so grown up going to a "night" party.
It was literally in someone's garage that they decorated with party lights, ballons etc, they made a selfie wall with props for the kids to take pictures and they had a BBQ and snacks food wise.
It was probably one of the most cost effective parties I've ever seen but it's the only one my now teenaged daughters still talk about.
Closest friends for a lunch? Like a decent restaurant lunch rather than fast food.
