I met a Dietician here who said that she had seen a lot put the weight back on. She believed it was because surgery was not addressing the need or the unhealthy relationship people have with food in the first place. I am thinking of seeing her as she has alot of success and works with intuitive eating
People on here get vicious with questions regarding weight. I would suggest posting this on a different site to avoid being demoralised.
Go keto you get full fast and stay full. You're still eating too much. Seek a dietician or learn portion control.
Firstly before you look for other weight loss options you need to look at why you regained the weight. So many people have this surgery and think it’s going to fix all their issues. You might lose weight but you’re still have an obese mind set unless you fix your relationship with food.
Why were you obese? Why do you over eat and eat the wrong foods?
I spent so much time before and after my surgery seeing a psychologist to have a better relationship with food and it’s been a huge contributor to my success. I’ve lost 70kg and I’m 4 years post op. I no longer crave crappy food, I always try to plan my meals, take my snacks out with me so I’m not tempted to buy crap. Preparation is key!
The surgery doesn’t fail, people fail the surgery. I hope this hasn’t come across harsh but it’s a truth for many people, you can have all the surgeries in the world but until you have a healthy relationship with food you won’t keep it off!
