Look on seek at the pay rate/salary offered in this industry. It is huge money and its an industry that keep training and upskilling so there are many pathways after they have established themselves.
Absolutely- I work in this space and there is a shortage of workers (particularly female) to fill these roles. Tell them to get as many qualifications and experience under their belts and build from there. If they score jobs on big state projects it will be a license to print money for them $100k plus a year.
If this is the career that your children are interested in then yes it is a great career choice.
