Odd question sorry. But can you own pet ducks on a residential property. ? I’ve rang the council and asked they didn’t know, we live in qlds and idk who else to ask. Thanks

It depends on location. If council doesn't know, it's likely not in their local laws. I day go for it. My sister had a couple of ducks and they are so much fun, and not any more noisy then dogs. You can have chooks in most locations just not roosters
I would ask to speak to the ranger who will know, it will probably be the same as chooks. You don't want to get them and then have to get rid of them.
