Meal replacement shakes in Perimenopause

Hi, I have gained considerable weight. I sit all day at a desk. I am trying to increase my movement and watch what I eat. It does not help that I am now in peri and am struggling to drop weight. I understand meal replacement shakes are not a long term option but I want to kick start my weight loss. Does anyone have recommendations for a shake that also helps when in Perimenopause?? Thank you

Shakes can be a good option to kick start weightloss but they do have a lot of additives. I was sensitive to the ingredients that made them low sugar and high in fibre, so they all have these ingredients! and ended up with quite severe diarrhea everyday. After lots of research I had decided on Ladyshake and they were delicious especially if you left them chilling overnight. They also have a facebook page which was a nice support (be careful of the Karen's though)...Another option that worked AND changed my eating habits long term was lite'n'easy. It really did result in weight loss, introduced me to food options I hadn't previously thought of and changed how I ate long term. You do need life long habits, not just a short term diet.
