I'm needing some ideas on how to keep an organised and clean house hold as I am needing to go back to work full time earlier then I had wished to. How do other mums keep on top of things when working?

No longer working full time but things that worked for me:
Having a cleaning schedule
Our washing baskets are exactly the same size as the washing machine so a load gets put on as soon as full and as my son aged he was expected to put it on if he filled it up :)
It takes about the same time to cook a large quantity of food as it does to make a small quantity so a few nights I make double so we had freezer meals for those nights when I felt buggered.
Everyone helps out and does what they can. So if your kids can take there dirty dishes to the sink they should.
Have a schedule for any major cleaning
and get food shopping done online and delivered or click and collect the time saved well worth the slight increase in prices
I have 3 kids and work full time. I have taught the kids to put their dirty clothes in the washing machine when it's full I do a load. I meal plan as much as I can. We have one day a week usually a Saturday that everyone helps clean this is when I do floors, bathrooms, sheets, ect all the big time consuming things. Kids are responsible for their rooms and toys. Hubby helps with kitchen and dishwasher if Iam working late he will also make dinner. I also make dinner in the slow cooker I cut all the things up the night before and put in the fridge the next morning I put the slow cooker on and when I get home dinner is done.
i dont work fulltime, but i work a fair bit, am a single mum and have a huge house to look after, i have found that the house doesnt seem to get as dirty because were not in it as much, but i use the slow cooker ALOT! and in summer lots of easy salads, we have alot of washing because i still have a bed wetter, but i put a load on at night and hang out in the morning before work, sometimes if theres like alot of washing, ill hang one load on the clothes hoist regardless of the weather and then still put one on to hang out in the morning, ill throw ajax and bleach in the bottom of the shower before i get in it in the morning and wash it while im in there, the toilet usually gets done at night as i put the toilet cleaner in it and let it marinade for 15 minutes before i give a quick going over before my nightly shower. Depending on how bad the floors are i do them at night after dinner, otherwise they wait until the weekend.
I drink lots of redbull after work lol
But really I just lowered my standards and do what I can do, no point in stressing over a little dust or if you need to fish undies out of the folding basket for a day or two.
I work 25 hours a week and have one child, I find that hard enough! But you do get use to it and it does get easier once you are in a routine. I have a very messy husband but he works 50 hours a week so I don't ask him for help with the house work, I do ask him to not be so messy though and he is starting to listen haha. Would just like to say good on you for going back to work, I looove seeing mummas returning to work!! Go you
