Hello IM's.
I need help with what I should put on a resume and cover letter. I did not complete year 10 as I fell pregnant and since then have had another boy 2 years ago (I'm 21). I have no work experience, no volunteer experience, no completion of education, and honestly no hobbies (my family is my one and only hobby lol). I'm only applying for small casual jobs until next year when I can attend tafe but I'm completely stuck with an empty resume! How do I transfer my 'skills' gained as a mother to a resume????

Organisation/time management - organisation skills being a mother, getting 2 kids out the door on time, being organised with lunches, food, dinners etc, routines -- I'm not sure of your schedules whether your older child is doing sport/school
Will think some more for you :)
Go and ask to do some work experience at different places. Even if work experience is for free at least it's better than nothing on your resume :)
Be honest on your resume about bein a SAHM, and write things like , honest, hardworker, friendly, eager to learn. Also include things like, good with calculating money, being organised and neat and tidy.
Generally thats all a shop job is looking for anyway :)
You can also do a couple of things online that are cheap and only take a couple of hours like a basic food handlers certificate
Honest is best ! Stay at home mum. Write in you cover letter that you willing to take on any training required to obtain a position. If you've done any volunteer work at your children's schools kinds or daycare put it down. Not all experience comes from paid work . Maybe volunteer locally . Find some great personal referees
