Multiple miscarriages

Multiple miscarriages

Hi lovelies,

About 6 months ago my husband and I decided to try for a sibling for our 5 yo DD. Since then we have had 3 miscarriages. 2 chemical miscarriages at 4-5 weeks and 1 at 7 weeks. We have both had all the tests and they have come back all clear, we don't drink or smoke, have a healthy lifestyle and are in our early 30's. I seem to become pregnant easily enough but go on to lose them. Our doctor said to keep trying. It is very emotionally and physically hard :(

My question has anyone else experienced multiple muscarriages and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? Thanks for your responses xx

I can't help answer your question but I recently had a miscarriage and I guess I just wanted to say you are so strong having been through 3 of them, I honestly wish you all the best for a successful pregnancy, baby dust for you :) x

I've had two miscarriages and then went on to fall pregnant and stay pregnant and gave birth to my gorgeous boy in 2013. I had all the tests done too, all were fine, which can be frustrating in itself and I'm in my early twenties. Do you go to the hospital when you miscarry? Sometimes they can take tissue samples and test those to try and figure out a cause.
I know how hard it is, I joined an amazing online forum called baby and bump to help me cope after mine. I also recommend the book 'pregnancy loss' by Zoe Taylor. I bought it off iBooks. I used to read it all the time and it helped me feel like I wasn't the only one.

Firstly I am so sorry for your loss xx

I have 3 beautiful children and my partner and I decided we wanted to TTC baby #4 last year. I experienced 2 miscarriages after trying for 9 months and I just couldn't understand why it was happening. Just before new years I found out I was expecting, I'm now 10 weeks pregnant and everything is going great (touch wood) an ultrasound shown a very strong, healthy heartbeat. It is possible you just need to keep believing!

I had 2 miscarriages between my first and second son. I had some testing done after the second miscarriage that found my progesterone levels were a little low so when I got pregnant again I used progesterone pessaries up until I was 14weeks

I'm so sorry to hear. It is a difficult time both physically and emotionally.

I have had many miscarriages.

I had a blighted ovum miscarriage before I had my daughter 8 years ago. This resulted in a D&C, and I later got an infection, spent a week in hospital and had another D&C. I was pregnant with my daughter three months later.

Five years later I tried to give my daughter a sibling. I had five miscarriages. For some reason, and I have absolutely no idea why, I managed to conceive and have a trouble free pregnancy and now have a beautiful six month old son.

Always have hope x
