Sea change with the family in toe

Hubby and myself are seriously thinking of changing our occupation, house, basically everything. We currently live 45 mins away from any family or friends are always stressed due to being self employed and just basically over life. If we won lotto tomorrow we would take 6 mths off life. Hubby has done the same job/ occupation for the last 10 yrs and is really bored. I don't work in my qualified field and altho I would like to its just too competitive and not enough jobs. I could find a sales job very easily, I have always had a job even when having our kids. If we sold everything tomorrow we would get out of it with alittle cash enough for a deposit on a house closer to our family. But here's the thing that's holding me back it would basically be starting again, we would probably be worse off financially but better off mentally, with a hell of a lot of stress off our shoulders. As much as I think this is a great idea I feel like it's alittle irresponsible we have 3 children two are at school and up rooting them and moving them would be a lot then to add the fact me and hubby would be unemployed until we find new jobs is kinda scary. Has anyone done the whole sea change with a family in toe, did it work ? Do you regret it or are you happier for it??
