I am currently a SAHM to a 4yo and a 18mo. we are fortunate enough that I do not have to return to the workforce, unless I wish to. Before kids, I was a paralegal for over 10 years. It's all I have ever known career wise but I really have no interest in returning. If I'm going to go back to work, I want to do something I love and am passionate about. I have been seriously considering becoming a doula. I would love to know what the IM readers think about doulas. Have you used one? If so, what was your experience like? Would you use one again? If your a Dr or midwife, what do you think of doulas? Are you a doula? If so, where did you do your training?
Thank you in advance IMs!

I recently did some reading up on doulas. I like the idea of them but I was really concerned about the apparent leanings towards quackery. I am very sensitive though to people making claims that they can't back up.
